Well, well, well, Wicksley. You've done it. As I only play free Indie horror games, I played the Demo once more. I remember from the first time playing there was a lot more to it, but in this demo it's all bare bones, without any hints as to what's awaiting the protagonist ahead of this first part.

The only thing I didn't like was when things went dark. I hardly could see a thing and was lucky to remember where I'd seen light switches, but still had a hard time getting them to work. How about them glowing in the dark, so they're much easier to find? I did play this demo during my lunch break [aka daytime], so I was mostly staring at my own reflection on the danged big screen [during the dark parts] and thus had a very hard time getting around.

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or snags, so, job well done!

Thank you so much for giving the updated demo another go and, yes, it has been made a bit shorter than the first version as the first version was kind of testing the water as this is my first ever game. The feedback was amazing, and it really helped me push the game in a direction that hopefully everyone would have an enjoyable experience playing the full version :)

Yes, I could always add a little flashing icon on all the lamps and light switches in a future update. I know Dweeb Gaming had the same issue but everyone else said it adds to the atmosphere, so that's the reason why I haven't changed it. I could see everything in the dark just fine watching your video, so it might be because you played in the daytime, maybe. I will definitely sort it out in a future update if everyone is getting lost in the dark.

That's awesome thank you so much for all your feedback and making another video on the demo I really appreciate it and all your support means the world to me.

Have a great day :)

This is a work with great potential.

The graphics are great and the atmosphere is great.

I'm looking forward to the continuation.

Thank you so much for your kind words and playing the demo, I really appreciate it :)

Version 3 of the demo is now available with lots of bug fixes.

I really enjoyed your video have a great day :D

Really fun demo with some great jumpscares! All comments at the end! Keep up the good work =)

Thank you so much for playing the demo I'm looking forward to watching your video :D

Hi their well that was a jumpy experience made me jump three times, absolutely loved the groovy movers in the pub to don't want to say to much or I will spoil it for others but an amazing start to your game developing journey  well done.

I am not a game developer myself but a few things can be improved like opening/ closing doors and maybe a more obvious looking brick in you know where but not to obvious  maybe a scratch or a spooky engraving on the stone and I don't know if it was my computer but the phone kept disappearing into walls when I was  talking to tony but I am sure these thing will get sorted out in the full game/updates .

I am looking forward to the full release hopefully you will have it game pad compatible by then I am old school you've done a fantastic job and keep at it MR Wicklsley ;)

Thank you for the kind words I'm really glad you enjoyed the demo :) Yes the ability to close doors will be added along with lots of bug fixes in future updates, I'm really sorry you got lost in the attic, the brick is sticking out of the wall a little bit you have to be looking at it a side angle to see it. I'm going to change the shade of the brick slightly lighter and a small engraving is a good idea, its hard to make it a secret and easy to find at the same time haha. Oh yes I know about the phone going through walls and objects that will also be fixed in a future update.

I'm just working on windows for now but I will look at all the other platforms later down the line. Thank you so much for playing the demo have a great day :D

!  Congrats on getting this far ! Loved the demo !! It does need a little improvement before it gets fully released but its got so much potential and really amazing for your first game !!

Now for the feedback :) PLEASE put markers or something to show  where you need to go. Like the attic ,for example; SOOO MANY BRICKS lol there was no way to tell where the hidden wall was and took me so long that I was about to just give up. Maybe have a brick a slightly different shade of grey or something similar to that .  Also, why cant the guy grab his phone and use that flashlight after waking up every night lol  You can't just give me a flash light only sometimes , come on now thats cruel . THE MAIN complaint though ;  remove that invisible wall from Dweeb street lol admit it , you did that for a laugh didnt you ! lol

Overall very impressive game ! Im looking forward to seeing the full release ! Keep at it !  Oh also thank you so much for making dweeb street :) really appreciate it !

Thank you so much Dweeb I'm really glad you liked the demo I will watch you're video when I get home :) I'm really sorry you got stuck in the attic the brick is sticking out of the wall a little but you have to be looking at it a side angle to see it, I wanted it to be a secret but I also didn't want anyone to get stuck finding it, it will be fixed in the next update :) oh you wanted a flashlight at night time too? What's wrong with just having it in the sunshine 😂 I will see what I can do. Haha I admit I did the flashlight trick and invisible wall just for you 😁 thanks Dweeb I'm looking forward to watching you're video have a great day 😊

The game is a beast in its size. That means the environment isn't vague and pixelated. It is crisp and clear as is the main story. Wicksley has done a wonderful job in creating a creepy atmosphere in an ordinary city, in an ordinary street and what was supposed to be an ordinary house. But is it?

The only way to find out is either watch or play the game yourself.

Things I would like to see changed:

- Mouse sensitivity control

- Visible light switches in the dark

- Ability to open AND close doors

- Better lighting when lights are switched on in rooms

- Stricter action field where you don't have to be in the exact little spot to get that visible hand icon

Nevertheless, job well done, Wicksley!

Thank you so much for playing, and thank you for the feedback I plan on implementing everything you have suggested. If you remember when the game had a reach tool you could reach walls to open and close doors 😂 for some reason I really had trouble with some triggers not working properly, still lots of fine tuning to do but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a great day mate :D

i really enjoyed the demo. Good job

Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoyed it, Have a great day :D
